WHY INSTALLATION MATTERS

Every home is different.

Rooflines change. Soffits change. Fascia materials change. Peaks aren't always symmetrical. Some homes have multiple gables, eyebrows, dormers, second-story sections, difficult transitions, or areas where wiring has to be carefully concealed.

CENTERING LIGHTS ON PEAKS AND GABLES

One detail we've become especially particular about is centering lights on peaks.

When permanent lights travel up both sides of a gable, the spacing at the peak needs to look intentional. If the layout isn't planned correctly, the highest point of the home can end up looking uneven.

We take measurements and adjust spacing when necessary so the lights visually center on prominent peaks and architectural features.

It's a small detail.

Most homeowners may never think to ask about it during a consultation.

But once the lights come on at night, those small details become noticeable.

THE BEST PERMANENT LIGHTING INSTALLATIONS LOOK GOOD WHEN THEY'RE OFF

We talk about this constantly because permanent lighting spends a lot of its life turned off.

During the daytime, we don't want the lighting system to become the first thing you notice when you look at the house.

TruLight uses a low-profile aluminum track that allows us to integrate the lights into the home's roofline. Proper track placement, clean cuts, transitions, wire management, and mounting all contribute to making the finished installation blend into the home.

At night, you see the lighting.

During the day, our goal is for you to notice the house.

CLEAN WIRING MATTERS TOO

Some of the most important work in a permanent lighting installation isn't visible when the project is finished.

Routing wiring correctly, making clean connections, planning power locations, concealing transitions, and protecting the electrical components are all part of building a system intended to stay on the home year-round.

TruLight operates on a 48V low-voltage platform, but the layout of the system still needs to be planned around the individual home.

We don't believe in rushing through those details simply because the homeowner won't see them when we're finished.

YOUR CONTROL BOX SHOULD MAKE SENSE

Controller placement is another detail we plan with the homeowner.

The location needs to work technically, but it also needs to make sense for everyday ownership and future access.

Once installation is complete, we don't simply turn the lights on and leave.

We show our customers how their TruLight system works, walk them through the app, explain the different features, and make sure they're comfortable controlling their new lighting.

After all, the best permanent lighting system isn't very useful if you don't know how to use it.
